Alice Lamunu Founder and Executive Director was born and raised in the Acholi tribe of Northern Uganda. She relocated to the United States in 1996 and has been an American citizen since. Alice has experience living with poverty in Uganda, she started funding educational scholarships for underprivileged children in her hometown of Gulu in 2010. She is a business owner who has worked in the childcare industry since 2004. Her career has enabled her to provide educational scholarships to 350 vulnerable girls living in extreme poverty in Northern Uganda to boarding schools. VOCFINU focus on the impact of poverty in Washington State and in Uganda Africa . Target populations include: Youth and Young Adults, women i.e single mothers and children who lack basic needs : Populations suffering from Hunger and Chronic Homelessness,
